I will be honest with you, this book was just showcasing the steps to tidy your house.
Marie even taught me how to fold a T-shirt! Always start with the clothes!
It then moves on to how to tidy the cupboard, each room, the bathroom, the cleaning tools, the miscellaneous items, and, last, the sentimental goods.
And believe me, IT IS NOT ABOUT TIDYING YOUR HOUSE, it is about how to love yourself by keeping what matters to you and feel good about yourself. You always know this, right?
If you feel anxious about anything, try tidying up your stuff (aka life :') )
Always do the heavy lifting first. Start with the huge number of clothes you have in the cupboard that you do not even know you have. haha
Do the most sentimental things last. There are fewer clothes, but you will spend more time here.
Show appreciation for everything that has helped your life. Hig and thank it before letting it go. It teaches me gratitude and appreciation. (Also apply to people, right? :') )
Tidying up is a marathon; you will get better along the way, and it will get easier.
Give your desk (life) some color to spark more joy when you are there.
Letting things go is ok. Make sure to thank them. :') haha
None, Marie. Thank you.
People who tend to impulsively like buying stuff.
Unorganized people :) Like me.
"Send your parents the life journey photo book of you since you left home until your 30s. You will thank yourself later. You don't know how grateful they are when you give them those."
