A new insight for me is that in Arabian publishing, they are very strict about publishing a book because they need to check the originality, the framing, the knowledge the author cites, etc. It gives me a sense of assurance that what I am reading/listening to is highly curated and strictly published.
Another insight is that the Prophet encourages us to store food or supplies for only 1 year's needs in case of drought or hardship. I don't know; I could relate it directly to the emergency fund that our modern society includes in its financial plan. If that's the case, I am amazed at how thoroughly things were prescribed hundreds of years ago within the Islamic framework. Even before modern finance or even science could catch up.
